Comedy Garden favourites are out in force too with the return of lo-fi extraordinaire David O'Doherty, Edinburgh Comedy Award winner John Robins, Josie Long, Viceland's Jamali Maddix, Live At The Apollo"s Suzi Ruffell, cult poet/comic Tim Key, observational master Ed Byrne, the Last Leg's Rodie Jones and many more.

Alongside established names sit some of the brightest breakthrough talent such as the acclaimed Celya, stand-up Fatiha El-Ghorri and award-winning Esther Manitoall making their Brighton debut.

Following last year's socially-distanced event this year's Comedy Garden will be a true return to form with the welcome come-back of walk-up bars and street-food stalls.

The shows will once again take place outdoors with audiences sat in a theatre-style arena in the glorious surroundings of Preston Park.

The sibling team behind the Comedy Garden, Cass Randolph and Will Briggs of 57 Festivals, can't wait to return to the south coast.

"We're over the moon with this year's line-up and can't wait to bring the festival to Brighton with our proper set up.

"Last year we had to switch to a socially-distanced event as the Government's Roadmap was delayed, so to be coming back this summer with this truly incredible line up, theatre-style seating plus the bars, food stalls and all the embellishments that make it a true festival experience, is going to be absolutely fantastic."
