Hove Cafe Is Good Neighbour To Loneliness Charity On Mother's Day

The Crumpetty Tree Café and Deli in Hove has organised a Mother's Day special lunch donation menu on Sunday 26th March in support of Brighton & Hove Impetus, the award-winning local charity which helps vulnerable people who are lonely or isolated because of disability, poor mental or physical health or age.

"Impetus are neighbours of ours and we felt that Mother"s Day would be an ideal time to support them and highlight the important work that they do", says Angie Greany, owner of The Crumpetty Tree.

"Mother's Day is a time when families get together but it can also be a time when isolation and loneliness is felt more acutely.

"This issue feels very relevant to us because we've a number of older customers and notice when they become more frail and isolated."

The Crumpetty Tree's Mother"s Day special lunch menu costs £20 (half-price for mum, granny and child portions) and the café is asking for a £5 donation to Impetus per table.

To book, email angie@thecrumpettytreehove.co. uk or call 01273 772414
