Continental Circus Berlin Has Arrived In Brighton For An Extended Covid Secure Run

Continental Circus Berlin has opened at Preston Park, Brighton, and will run until the 23rd of June. 


The show is an amalgamation of Circus acts, music & real youthful energy, incorporating performers from all corners of the world. 

From the producers of the some of the world's finest Circuses this brand new show is especially created for a exclusive UK tour, & takes place in a Covid Secure Theatre Style Big top. 

In an age where so much entertainment is unreal, made up of special effects, CGI and has a virtual reality, being pre-recorded, multi-tracked, digitally enhanced or in some other way electronically created - the sheer reality of a live show is a breath of fresh air and the feats and skills seen at Continental Circus Berlin are often hard to belive. 

From rola balancing on a motorbike to super fast Las Vegas quick change to the death defying Globe of Death. 


Clowns Angelo & Eddie, will guide you through the show which also includes Beautiful Aerialist's, quick change artistes, high wire walkers, the rotating wheel of destiny, motorbike balancers, Hula Hoop queens, whirlwind acrobats & the death defying Globe of Death with riders traveling a G force speeds inside a mesh dome.

The thrill of live contemporary dance and circus theatre will return to Brighton Dome's Concert Hall stage this autumn.

Written in 1888, Miss Julie - which comes to New Venture Theatre, Brighton - caused outrage when it opened and was banned by the censors — yet over 130 years later, it's no surprise that this powerful drama still retains its shock factor.

With the shackles of lockdown finally released and Brighton's cultural swing doors once more admitting concert goers, photographer Andy Sturmey was back in the pit at Concorde 2 Brighton, last night, and this time he had folk-punk hero Frank Turner in his lens line.

With the summer holidays fast-approaching, Brighton & Hove Music & Arts (BHMA) and East Sussex Music (ESM) launch their Digital Summer School; a family-friendly programme that offers a vast choice of online music education from under £30.
