2001's Far Pop took the number one spot at the end of week one of its release.
Having not been able to tour his previous two albums: True Meanings (too expensive to take on the road) and On Sunset (Covid), Fat Pop saw his return to the live circuit.
Weller's audience is growing old with him. Many formed lasting friendships or relationships via his Jam, Style Council, Movement or solo incarnations.
And in concert he now gives a longer backwards glance while still keeping one eye on the here and now.
That's why at the Brighton Centre, on Saturday 19th October, Weller promises fan favourites, deep cuts and plenty of material from
this year's album,
66.
