Filmed in the UK and starring Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, James McAvoy, Anne-Marie Duff, James Cosmo and Ariyon Bakare, this adaptation of Pullman's magical story has earned prestigious reviews and entertained millions of viewers across the globe.

Lewes Drama Collective bring Pullman's modern masterpiece of imaginative fiction to life on the 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th of February 2020, with a cast local talented actors, who are aged between 11 and 18.

On their path to discover the truth, orphan Lyra Belacqua, her Daemon Pantalaimon and Will Parry have been through many different worlds so far, both familiar and unknown, and on their quest have encountered the sinister and all-controlling power of The Magisterium and the child-snatching Gobblers, as well as boat dwelling gyptians, mystical witches and armoured polar bears.

The quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust is set to keep audiences on the edge of their seats as the struggle between good and evil continues in the mysterious and yet strangely familiar worlds created by the controversial genius of Phillip Pullman.

Join Lyra and her friends as they make the arduous journey to the 'republic of heaven' through the dark and haunting land of the dead, where they encounter some fantastical and frightening beings and conclude the thrilling trilogy of His Dark Materials.
