After spending many hours at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe, the venue's programmers have put together a list of events which includes a huge range of shows, from award winning theatre to up and coming sketch acts and kid's shows to naked storytelling!

This year's theatre highlights include Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence 2016 winners,In Bed with my Brother, with their hit Edinburgh Fringe show We Are Ian, a rollercoaster ride of a clown show all about educating today's 'youth'" about the rave culture of the 1980s-90s (featuring a talking lightbulb).

Also on the bill are Ridiculusmus, a multi-award winning theatre company who have been producing theatre for over twenty years, with memorably named new show Die Die Die Old People Die - a slapstick about hanging on, dying and grieving.

Alongside Komedia's award winning regular comedy shows, Krater Comedy Club, Bent Double and Comic Boom, their Fringe comedy programme includes the madcap, sci-fi masterpiece The Starship Osiris - the twenty second Top Rated Show at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016 out of over three thousand shows, as well as the Dave Gorman-esque James Veitch with Game Face - a PowerPoint fuelled show about love, life and enabling Bluetooth.

Komedia - Krater comedy - Here's what you think!

For those looking for some late-night fun, there are two nights, which are new to Komedia.

These are Massaoke - Britain's original and best sing-a-long club night featuring a live band, huge anthems and lyrics on a screen creating a huge audience sing-a-along andMusical Bingo - a new regular night for Komedia, in which numbers are out and tunes are in throughout several themed music rounds. Expect ecstatic winners, confetti canons, friendly DJ's and unpredictable comperes!

As always, family-friendly shows feature too with the return of Komedia"s very own puppet theatre show Oskar's Amazing Adventure, from the makers of last year's hit showPitschi and, amongst others, the Margo Piano Musical Show, an educational show with live music from a one-man-band, from the makers of a successful app which helps children learn music in schools.

Across all genres, several shows in this year"s programme are based on challenging, true life experiences; The Eulogy of Toby Peach follows a young man's journey with cancer,Kevin King of Egypt follows the story of an escaped psychiatric patient, inspired by the writer/performer Rob Gee's experiences as a registered nurse in acute psychiatric units, and Scott Gibson's Life After Death follows Scott's own experience of suffering from a brain haemorrhage and how comedy can bring you back to life after such a life-changing event.
